Bill and Pat McWilliams
have lived and worked with their four children (Kenny, Ira, Paige and Amos)
at Caper Acres since 1975. Bill McWilliams has been in the horse business all
of his life. He has successfully trained and raced standardbred trotters and
has shown many top class standardbreds in the Road Horse division winning
many championships at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, Ontario, Syracuse,
New York, Devon, Pa. He has also shown hackneys, and three and five gaited
saddlebreds. Bill has a good eye for picking out potential talent in many
breeds. Pat McWilliams has shown in many
disciplines: 'A' Hunter, schooling jumper, saddle seat, stock seat, driving
and riding Road Horses (standardbred trotters), and is currently involved in
dressage training. Pat starts and trains many young horses. She enjoys
retraining thoroughbred race horses to be hunter/jumper prospects. Paige McWilliams started showing in lead
line at the age of two. She has shown in hunter, jumper, saddle seat, western
and driving. Both Pat and Paige enjoy trail riding and
going to some of the local hunter paces. We are located 6 km (4 miles) south of
