Day camps are also available at March
Break and Christmas.
Everyone should bring lunches. Small snacks and drinks will be available.
Fee
Summer day camp is $300 a week
per child. A $50 deposit is required.
Dressing
Accordingly
Dressing for the weather is
very important.
Wear a hat and sunscreen, as
we will be outside for the majority of the day.
Shorts can be worn when not
riding.
Lesson
Students will learn riding
as well as the care and maintenance of horses such as grooming, tacking up,
feeding, cleaning stalls,
cleaning tack, basic anatomy and horse behavior.
Riding Supplies
It is recommended
that you wear proper riding boots and pants (breeches) from a tack
shop,
but a boot with a small heel
and comfortable pants will work fine for the beginner rider.
Helmets must be
approved by Equine Canada regulation and also can be bought at a tack shop
such as Greenhawk or Apple
Saddlery.
I do supply helmets for
those that don't have one.
