Caper Acres was built by Bill & Pat McWilliams in 1975

Bill McWilliams has been in the horse business all of his life.
He has successfully trained & raced standardbred
trotters and has shown many top class standardbreds in the
Road Horse division winning many championships at the Royal
Winter Fair in Toronto, Ont., Syracuse, NY & Devon, Pa. He has
also shown hackneys, and three and five gaited saddlebreds.
Bill has a good eye for picking out potential talent in many breeds.

Pat McWilliams has shown in many disciplines: 'A' Hunter,
schooling jumper, saddle seat, stock seat, driving and riding
Road Horses (standardbred trotters), and is currently involved
in dressage training. Pat has had the great opportunity to work with
some of the best riders in Canada such as Ian Millar and Jill Henselwood.
Pat starts and trains many young horses. She enjoys retraining thoroughbred
race horses to be hunter/jumper prospects.

Paige McWilliams has taken over Caper Acres in 2007 and since had started a riding school with very safe reliable horses and Instructors for all ages and levels. Paige broke and sold her first horse at the young age of nine and continues to do so. She started showing in lead line at the age of two and didn't stop there, she has successfully shown in "A" hunter, Grand Prix level 3 jumper, saddle seat, western pleaser and driving, she has done very well in every discipline and loves to keep learning and working on improving horse and rider. Paige is also currently involved in dressage training and is planning on showing one of her Dutch Warmblood X's this summer.

Both Pat and Paige enjoy trail riding and going to some of the local hunter paces and clinics.
